Program Coordinator of the Arts + Healthcare program at Barnes-Jewish Hospital.
The mission of the Arts + Healthcare Program at Barnes-Jewish Hospital is to foster an institutional culture that includes the arts as an integral aspect of the healing environment.
Sarah is a graduate of Wayne State University in Detroit and the Maryland Institute, College of Art. Her past professional experience includes teaching and administrative roles at the Maryland Institute, College of Art, Parsons School of Design in New York, a the Art Academy of Cincinnati. Since moving to St. Louis in 2001, she was coordinator of the gallery, artists-in-residence, and visual arts programming at the Center for Creative Arts (COCA) in St. Louis and director of admission at Rossman School before starting the Arts + Healthcare Program at BJH. She is a 2004 alum of the Community Arts Training program through the St. Louis Regional Arts Commission. Sarah continues to work as an artist and curator.
