Tricia Paik

Assistant Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at the Saint Louis Art Museum.

She oversees the post-war to contemporary collection and curates two contemporary exhibition series, Currents and the New Media Series. Prior to SLAM, Paik was curatorial assistant in the Department of Drawings at The Museum of Modern Art where she collaborated in the organization of three exhibitions, including Georges Seurat: The Drawings. Paik also worked as a research and exhibition assistant at The Metropolitan Museum of Art on four exhibitions, including Jackson Pollock: Early Sketchbooks and Drawings, Ellsworth Kelly on the Roof, and Anselm Kiefer: Works on Paper. She has lectured on modern and contemporary art at The Museum of Modern Art, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and The Morgan Library & Museum. In addition, Paik served as instructor at Christie's Education in New York. Paik received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English and art history from Dartmouth College and her Ph.D. in art history from the Institute of Fine Arts, New York University.
