
Duane Reed
Owner/Director of Duane Reed Gallery.
He has been Curator of over 300 gallery exhibitions and participated in over 50 international juried art fairs during the coarse of 20 years as an arts professional. Duane’s memberships include: The Renwick Gallery Caucus, Smithsonian American Art MuseumWashington DC, Founder’s Circle of The Mint Museum, Charlotte, NC, AIDA (Association of Israeli Decorative Arts), Glass Art Society, Friends of Contemporary Ceramics, Art Alliance for Contemporary Glass, Former trustee of The American Craft Council (New York).
Duane has lectured extensively on Contemporary Glass including Laumier Sculpture Park, 1996, Maryville University, 2003 and Missouri Botanical Garden, 2006 and has participated in numerous panel discussions including “The Role of the Gallery in the New Millennium: SOFA/Chicago 2003. He is currently Board member of the Creative Glass Center of America, Wheaton Arts and Cultural Center.
