
Eric Thoelke
Founder, President and Creative Director of TOKY Branding + Design.
He is an award-winning art director and designer, known for design, strategic consulting and effective cross-media branding.
Eric has numerous peer review awards and recognition, some are: Featured as one of the ‘10 Great Minds’ of St. Louis, by St. Louis Magazine, ALIVE Magazine "Buzz List" honoree, with his wife Mary, for their work promoting the Midtown Alley district of St. Louis, TOKY honored as one of the Best Places to Work by St. Louis Magazine, 2009,
National and international design awards from Communication Arts, Graphis, the AIGA “Graphic Design USA” annuals, the Type Director's Club Annual Design Reviews, Print Magazine, American Corporate Identity, and “That's Entertainment!”, the review of music and movie design from the New York Times’ Steven Heller, and National ADDY Awards for advertising, packaging and brochure design.
Eric has been a member of the Marketing Board of Saint Louis University, the Marketing Board of the Center of Creative Arts (COCA), and the Board of the American Institute of Graphic Arts St. Louis.
Prior to TOKY Branding + Design, Eric was Chief Creative Officer with Influence, a technology enabled marketing company. He was Creative Director for Phoenix Creative and at Fleishman-Hillard International Design, and worked with Kiku Obata at Obata-Kuehner for five years.
