Grace’s dream of becoming a self-supporting artist came true when she opened her studio Signature Arts. She has painted murals, portraits, sports figures, landscapes and created sculptures. Grace was honored to win the Soulard Mardi Gras poster contest three years in a row.

Inspiration:

“Flying Foliage” illustrates the fragile nature of beauty, the joy of color and the freedom of flight. The intention is that each viewer will interpret it through their own experiences and emotions.

Applying the paint to the butterfly was my favorite part of the process – watching the blank butterfly begin to take on color, to emerge visually and to mirror the image in my mind.
