Inspiration:

All of my art is inspired by nature, specifically landscapes and geology. I am captivated by the idea that geological shifts and transformations seem to parallel what we go through as individuals and the way our relationships continually change, shift and develop. My butterfly is layered with maps and metallic paints to celebrate its transformation and journey with its metamorphosis and migration, and to remind us of ours.
