Viki’s innovative artwork is an energetic blend of sculpture and painting. She and her father, a gifted woodworker, have worked in collaboration throughout her career. Her artwork takes on all forms from traditional paintings to free-standing sculptures.

Inspiration:

The concept for this design came from the depths of my heart. As the butterfly emerges from its cocoon its colors become brighter, more detailed, fun and exhilarating. This represents life moving on and passing to the next level. In tough times it takes strength and courage to pass on to the next place, but we will find that it holds more grandeur, beauty and freedom.

Like a butterfly that has simply changed form, the ones we love always remain a part of us. Their love stays with us always, through a most magical metamorphosis. My hope is that this butterfly is a wondrous, magical and dynamic vision that reminds people of the things we hold in our hearts forever.
